OpenText Named a Leader on the 2022 GigaOm Radar Report for E-Discovery Solutions

On the 24th of October, OpenText announced it was named amongst the highest ranked leaders in the 2022 GigaOm Radar Report for E-Discovery Solutions. The industry report recognizes the company as having one of the most comprehensive e-discovery solutions on the market, outperforming Relativity, Microsoft, and the other 16 vendors evaluated. OpenText received the highest possible scores for flexibility, scalability, support and ease of use, with the report noting that “OpenText is strong across the board, and it is still innovating despite being a very well-established vendor.”

OpenText partners with MAD Security to improve response time to cyberthreats and shrink the attack surface

On the 19th of October, OpenText announced new partnership between OpenText Network Detection & Response (NDR) technology and MAD Security. This joint solution from OpenText and MAD Security will empower customers to cut false positive security alerts significantly and protect sensitive government data against advanced cyber threats.

“In the past, MAD Security has relied on an anomaly-based intrusion detection system to find indicators of compromise (IOCs). While this approach was effective for analyzing north-south traffic across small networks, it was a challenge to pinpoint IOCs across larger networks with significant volumes of east-west traffic,” said Jeremy Conway, CEO at MAD Security. “If we could reduce the time our analysts spent drilling down into the data, we could accelerate our response and improve cost efficiency—ultimately providing a more competitive service. Working with OpenText, we can now detect and correlate events, investigate the data and notify the client in an average of just 6.5 minutes—less than half of SLA.” 

Backbase Launches Developer Hub and Open-Source GitHub Repository

On the 17th of October, Backbase has launched Backbase.io and an open-source repository on GitHub, enabling adopters of the Backbase Engagement Banking Platform to more simply and quickly re-architect banking around the customer. Building on Backbase’s “by developers, for developers” culture, the new resources will reduce the implementation time for banks and credit unions, allowing them to focus on those customer journeys where differentiation offers the highest return on investment.

Backbase.io is a new, central information platform bringing all the information and resources customers and partners will need to explore, build, learn and implement with Backbase products. These resources include the Backbase implementation methodology, covering user flows and configurations, to help users better understand what Backbase offers out of the box, yielding faster time to market and maximized value from the product.

On the 29th of September, Avaya announced it has been identified as a Leader in The Aragon Research Globe for Intelligent Video Conferencing, 2022.
