Allot NetworkSecure solution Deployed by Taiwan’s Far EasTone Telecommunications

On the 1st of December, Allot Inc. a global provider of innovative network intelligence and security-as-a-service (SECaaS) solutions for communication service providers (CSPs) and enterprises, announced that, following a deal signed earlier this year, Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) in Taiwan has launched cybersecurity threat protection and comprehensive content control services for its mobile customers based on the Allot NetworkSecure solution.

Allot Third Quarter Financial Results

On the 15th of November, a leading global provider of innovative network intelligence and security solutions for service providers and enterprises worldwide, announced its unaudited third quarter 2022 financial results. Key highlights: Third quarter revenues were $25.0 million compared with $38.2 million in the third quarter of last year; Gross margin on a non-GAAP basis was 67%; GAAP operating loss was $13.1 million and non-GAAP operating loss was $10.8 million;GAAP net loss was $12.9 million and non-GAAP net loss was $10.6 million. For the fourth quarter and full year of 2022, management reiterates its guidance expectations as follows: Maintaining guidance for full year revenues of $125 million to $130 million, with expectations that full year revenues will trend toward the lower end of the range; Additional recurring security deals to be executed, providing incremental MAR** of about $180 million for the full year;Continues to expect December 2022 total ARR* including SECaaS ARR* and Support & Maintenance ARR* to be between $50-52 million, Continues to expect December 2022 SECaaS ARR* to be approximately $9 million; Continues to expect recurring security revenue to be approximately $7 million for 2022.

Allot Published Global Survey on Secure Traffic Providers

On the 14th of November, Allot, a leading global provider of innovative network intelligence and security-as-a-service (SECaaS) solutions for communication service providers (CSPs) and enterprises, released the findings of it latest commissioned survey conducted by Coleman Parkes Research measuring the attitudes of small businesses toward cybersecurity.

Among the results of the survey of 1,000 businesses, with 50 employees or less, in North America, Europe, and APAC, the following findings were revealed:

  • 70% of small businesses share the view that “It is the responsibility of the Internet provider/CSP to provide secure traffic”
  • 73% of small businesses want security to be a core offering of their Internet/data provider
  • 69% look to their CSP for insights and solutions about how to stay safe.
  • 65% of small businesses expect to be victims of a cyber attack
  • Only 22% of respondents trust their existing solution will protect their small business from cyber attacks

On the 27th of October, Avaya announced it has been identified as a Leader in The Aragon Research Globe for Unified Communications and Collaboration UC&C, 2022. The evaluation was based on completeness of strategy and performance. Avaya’s all-in-one solution for seamless communications and integration with other business apps enables businesses to take customer and employee experiences to a new level.

The report, authored by Aragon Research lead analyst Jim Lundy, clearly lays out the reasons for the growing demand for UC&C: “Communication and collaboration platforms have continued to evolve in the post-COVID era.
